American artists exhibit in Dongguan
One of the most influential American watercolor organizations, the National Watercolor Society (NWS), will send 100 artworks from its members to have an exchange exhibition with the Shenzhen International Watercolor Biennial in Dongguan. These artworks will be judged by well-known artist and curator of the exhibition Zhou Tianya.
Part of the exhibit will show 100 Chinese paintings chosen by Linda Doll, the Director of the NWS. The exhibit will see paintings chosen from1,234 paintings from 660 Chinese artists and 491 images from 491 American artists. The exhibition is being held place at the 21 Space Art Museum from April 2 to May 8. It is set to be a cultural exchange writ large, and in color. And water.
